New Research Suggests Environmental Factors at Work in Allergenic Rhinitis and Food Allergies


According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, some 50 million Americans suffer from allergies. From environmental to food to skin allergies, these numbers have been on the rise since the early 1980s. 
An recent article in ENT Today reviews new research that looks at the role of environmental factors to help explain this increase. OSU Otolaryngology physician Karen Calhoun, MD, is quoted.
